Philip focuses on the energy industry and in collaboration with the municipality of The Hague he helps to maintain and develop the new energy ecosystems in the region.
With the scarce space available in the North Sea, the blue economy is playing an ever growing role in their search for innovation. Their program Campus@Sea, occupies a central place in this knowledge and innovation ecosystem. Projects and events are jointly carried out surrounding the themes of food, energy, ecology and sport to share knowledge, test, learn and demonstrate.
Philip has worked in the offshore energy industry for a decade. At his previous employer Navingo BV, publisher of MarineEnergy.biz and organizer of Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference, he made sure that marine energy would become a significant element of their concept. For the North West Europe Marine Energy Alliance (MEA) he has worked as the communications partner. Via MEA, selected marine energy technology companies are able to receive a suite of tailored expert services that will enable them to realize their ambitions.
