Laura-Mae Macadré has been working at Centrale Nantes since July 2019 as Project Manager for Marine Renewable Energy projects. She is currently in charge of a new floating wind turbine prototype that will be deployed at the SEM-REV offshore test site in 2023. Prior to that, she worked as a Program Manager at General Electric, managing the engineering development of new features for the Haliade X (12MW) product. Previously she has been involved at Bureau Veritas as a MRE Certification Project Manager on multiple MRE projects at French and international level between 2012 and 2017. She graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, with a specialization in Energy at Ecole des Mines ParisTech, two leading French engineering schools.
