Johan Lindén is a surface chemist with a PhD from the University of South Australia in novel concepts for antifouling coatings and is now working as a researcher at the corrosion department of Research Institutes of Sweden.
He is working in a group with focus on marine materials and their durability related to antifouling and corrosion. His interest lies in optimising performance of materials and coatings for marine environments. At their field-station and lab in Kristineberg on the west coast of Sweden, Johan is working with antifouling field tests, accelerated corrosion tests, and electrochemical analyses. He is currently involved in projects for securing reliability and performance within the ocean energy sector.
