Hinne van der Zant is a data analyst at the Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) and is specialized in modeling marine energy potential in multi-source projects. Modeled aspects include: full load hours, curtailment, complementarity, storage, demand fitting, and multi-use park optimization. He enrolled in the MSc Marine Sciences at the University of Utrecht and Delft University of Technology, where he has specialised in physical oceanography and marine technology. Additionally, he is interested in physical- and biogeochemical processes in the ocean and is working with NASA to create a global ocean model.
